This medicine is a laxative used to cleanse the intestines before clinical procedures such as endoscopy or x-rays in adults.It consists of four bags: two large bags (bag A) and two small bags (bag B).All four bags are required for one application.The medicine works by emptying the intestines, causing watery diarrhea.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients, if your intestines are not completely permeable or if you suffer from a blockage in the digestive tract or intestinal obstruction, if you have a perforation in the wall of the digestive tract, if you suffer from gastric emptying disorder or intestinal paralysis, if you suffer from phenylketonuria, if you suffer from glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency or if you have an acuteColon enlargement as a result of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose for bowel preparation is a total of two liters of solution.One pack contains two clear outer bags, each containing two bags (A and B).The contents of each pair of bags are dissolved together in water to obtain a 1 liter solution.So one pack makes two liters of ready-to-drink solution.

Pour the contents of both bags into a measuring cup that can hold one liter of liquid.Add water to the container up to the 1 liter mark and stir until the powder is completely dissolved and the solution is clear or slightly cloudy.Drink the first liter within one to two hours.Try to drink a glass every 10 to 15 minutes.Then prepare the second liter of medication solution from bags A and B of the remaining outer bag and drink the solution in the same way.You should drink another liter of clear liquid during this period to avoid excessive thirst and dehydration of the body.
