Varihesive E

Varihesive E is a moisture-retaining hydrocolloid dressing specifically designed for low to moderately exuding wounds.This dressing features the unique ConvaTec hydrocolloid formulation, which sets it apart from other hydrocolloid dressings.Varihesive E is suitable for the treatment of a wide range of wound types, both chronic and acute.

Areas of application include chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers (grade II-IV) and leg ulcers.In addition, the bandage can also be used for acute wounds such as minor abrasions, tears, second-degree burns and split-thickness skin donor sites.

Composition

Varihesive E's wound contact layer consists of a triple hydrocolloid matrix containing sodium carboxymethylcellulose, pectin and gelatin.The outer layer is a film-coated polyurethane foam.It is important to mention that this product does not contain latex.

Indication

Varihesive E serves as a primary dressing for all dry to moist acute and chronic wounds.No prescription is required for this product.
