Systane Balance eye drops are used to moisturise dry eyes and irritations. They contain HP-guar, which protects the eye surface and provides relief. The combination of HP-guar and LipiTech™ stabilises the tear film and moisturises the eye surface. The drops are also suitable for watery eyes and can be used before and after inserting contact lenses. Due to the unique formulation with the LipiTech™ system, they moisturise the ocular surface, replenish and stabilise the lipid layer of the tear film and reduce excessive evaporation of the tear fluid. Application can be 1-2 times daily or as needed. It is recommended to shake the bottle before use. Dry eyes can be prevented by making some changes in everyday life such as avoiding air currents that directly hit the eyes. In addition, a healthy diet with sufficient intake of omega-3 fatty acids is advisable. Systane Balance eye drops can also be worn with contact lenses and should not be stored in the refrigerator.
