Directions for use of the product Artelac Lipids eye gel drops: - Artelac Lipids eye drops provide long-lasting relief for dry and watery eyes. - It supplements and stabilises the outer layer of the tear film, the lipid layer. - Artelac Lipids moisturises as a dropper gel and provides protection through carbomer and lipids. - It can be used as a companion to thin eye drops. - It is applied by removing the protective cap, tilting the head backwards and dropping a drop into the lower conjunctival sac. - Contact lenses should be removed before dropping and reinserted after at least 15 minutes. - The main ingredients are 2 mg/g carbomer, medium-chain triglycerides (lipids) and the preservative cetrimide. - The product can be used for (heavily) watery eyes. - Women suffer from a decrease in tear production, especially after the age of 50, which can be alleviated with artificial moisturisation. - Causes of watery eyes can be disorders in the eyelid or tear organ function as well as deficient lipid layer. - Diabetes can lead to sicca syndrome. - Artelac Lipids supplements and stabilises the lipid layer and contains carbomer for moisture retention. - It should be applied individually according to the severity and symptoms of dry eye. - The product should be stored at max. 25°C and protected from light. - The manufacturer of the product is Dr. Gerhard Mann chem.-pharm.
