ZINKOEL BW is a suspension for application to the skin that contains zinc oxide as the active ingredient. It is a wound healing agent that is applied externally. It is used to cover the skin of wound edges, for irritation and redness of the skin in the intertrigenous area (skin folds), in the nappy area and at the skin/mucous membrane transition area (mouth, anus, genitals) and for fissures and rhagades. No restrictions are stated regarding the ability to drive and operate machinery. The application is made by applying the suspension to the affected skin areas one to several times a day.
