Instructions for use of the article Kelo-Cote UV Silicone Scar Gel LSF 30: Kelo-Cote UV Silicone Scar Gel with SPF 30 is designed to protect scars from the harmful effects of the sun. It prevents dark pigmentation and is particularly suitable for areas of skin exposed to the sun. The gel reduces the bulging of scars and makes them smoother, reduces redness as well as itching and can also be used under cosmetics and sunscreen. It is transparent, odourless and waterproof. Suitable for children and adults. The ingredients are polysiloxane, silicon dioxide, isopropyl myristate, octinoxate 7.5%, octisalate 5.0%, octocrylene 10.0% and oxybenzone 6.0%. It is effective for fresh scars, surgical scars, caesarean section, aesthetic surgery and burn scars. The gel should be applied twice a day without rubbing it in.
