Directions for use of the product Mediolax Medice Gastro-resistant Tablets: This medicinal product contains the active ingredient bisacodyl and is used for short-term treatment of constipation and conditions requiring easier bowel movements. It can be used by children over 10 years of age and by adults. The recommended dose is 1 enteric-coated tablet a day. The medicine should be taken unchewed and with plenty of liquid. It can be taken in the evening or in the morning on an empty stomach, with bowel emptying taking about 6-10 hours depending on the time of day. Mediolax Medice should only be used for a short time without a doctor's instructions. In case of chronic constipation, a doctor should be consulted. In case of an overdose, diarrhoea may occur. In this case, a doctor should be contacted. It is important that the recommended dosage is adhered to.
