100 g Pinimenthol® cold ointment contains the following active ingredients: 20.00 g eucalyptus oil, 17.78 g pine needle oil and 2.72 g levomenthol.The other ingredients include purified water, alpha-(hexadecyl/octadecyl)-omega-hydroxypoly(oxyethylene)-12, white petrolatum, microcrystalline hydrocarbons (C40-C60), glycerol monostearate 40-55, heptamethylnonane, glycerol 85%, cetostearyl alcohol (Ph. Eur.), octyldodecanol(Ph. Eur.), Citric acid-glycerol monooleate-glycerol monostearate-L(+)-6-O-palmitoylascorbic acid-all-rac-α-tocopherol lecithin (2.5:7.5:20:20:25:25) and sodium edetate (Ph. Eur.).

Contraindications

Pinimenthol® cold ointment should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in children under 12 years of age, in bronchial asthma, whooping cough and other respiratory diseases with pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways.The ointment should also not be used in cases of acute inflammation of the respiratory tract, acute pneumonia, rash or damaged skin.

Dosage

Always use Pinimenthol® cold ointment exactly as directed.If you are unsure, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.Unless otherwise prescribed, the usual dose for rubbing is to rub a 3 - 4 cm long strand onto the chest and back 2 to 4 times a day or massage it in lightly.To inhale, place a 5 cm long strand in a suitable container 1 to 3 times a day, pour hot water over it and inhale the essential oils for several minutes.

The ointment should not be used on mucous membranes, around the eyes or on the face.You should wash your hands well after use.The preparation is intended for external use and inhalation treatment only.

Pregnancy

It is not known whether using Pinimenthol® cold ointment has negative effects on pregnancy and breastfeeding.Therefore, pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the ointment.

Notes

The Pinimenthol® cold ointment can be inhaled.Contact with mucous membranes should be avoided.

Other

If symptoms last longer than 3-5 days, such as shortness of breath, headache, fever, purulent or bloody sputum and nasal discharge, you should consult a doctor immediately.Because of the risk of scalding, the inhalant should not be reheated after it has cooled down.Children should not let their hands come into contact with the rubbed areas of skin.Because of the risk of scalding from hot water, children should not be allowed to inhale unsupervised.
