Directions for use of the article Rhinoguttae pro infantibus MP Nasal drops: - Active substance: silver protein acetyltannate. - Indications: Adjunctive treatment of irritation of the nasal mucosa with secretion in adults and children of all ages. - Contraindications: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, nosebleeds and injuries and wounds in the nose. - Precautions and warnings: Avoid long-term use or continuous use. - Dosage, method and duration of use: Before meals, instil 1-2 drops into each nostril up to 6 times daily, sniff and then bend forward. - Side effects: Occasional mild irritation of the nasal mucosa in sensitive patients. - Interactions with other medicines: None known, but simultaneous use of other nasal drops should be avoided. - Shelf life: Can be used for 4 weeks after opening, keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date. - Composition: 100g contain 3.0g silver protein acetyl tannate as well as chlorhexidine digluconate and water as other ingredients. - Date of information: May 2011. - Special note: In infants and small children, a conscientious dosage of 1 drop as a single dose should be observed to avoid overdosage.
