VISLUBE is a special eye drop solution that is used to optimally lubricate eyes and contact lenses while wearing them.The solution contains 0.18% hyaluronic acid and important electrolytes, is free of preservatives and offers a long-lasting effect and maximum comfort.No prescription is required for this product.

Composition and mode of action

VISLUBE is characterized by its unique composition.The hyaluronic acid it contains also occurs in natural tears and is obtained through a fermentation process.This substance makes it possible to bind large amounts of fluid and ensures optimal lubrication of the eyes and lenses.The solution covers the surface of the eye with a transparent liquid film that protects against dryness and irritation. VISLUBE also contains important electrolytes such as calcium, magnesium and potassium, which supply the cornea with moisture and nutrients.

Application

VISLUBE 1 to 2 drops can be instilled as needed while wearing the contact lens or directly into the eye.To do this, the cap of the disposable ampoule should be unscrewed, the head should be tilted back and the drip opening should be held over the eye to be treated.With the index finger of one hand, the lower eyelid is gently pulled down and a drop is released by gently squeezing the ampoule.The dropper tip should not come into contact with the eye or fingers.The solution spreads evenly through the blink of an eye, forming a transparent, durable layer of liquid on the surface of the eye or lens. VISLUBE is compatible with hard and soft contact lenses.The ampoules are resealable and can be used for up to 12 hours after opening.Damaged ampoules should not be used.

To prevent dry eyes, contact lens wearers should give their eyes regular breaks, remove the lenses in a timely manner and not go straight to bed to allow oxygen to reach the surface of the eye.It is advisable to alternate wearing contact lenses with wearing glasses, adjust the lenses well and clean them thoroughly after each wear.Regular check-ups with an ophthalmologist or optician are also important.Living and office spaces should be ventilated regularly, but without drafts or cigarette smoke.Wearing sunglasses protects against strong light, and regular eyelid cleaning and care can be helpful.
