Softa-Man® - hand disinfectant for dry to normal skin

Softa-Man® is a ready-to-use, alcohol-based solution that was specially developed for hand disinfection.This product is available without a prescription.

Properties

Softa-Man® is a nourishing hand disinfectant that is free of additional active ingredients.It contains high-quality care substances such as panthenol, bisabolol and allantoin that protect and care for the skin.The product is characterized by very good skin tolerance and is effective against bacteria, including MRSA and tuberculosis pathogens, as well as against fungi.The virus-active formulation is limited virucidal PLUS, meaning it is active against enveloped viruses as well as adenoviruses, noroviruses and rotaviruses.Softa-Man® is dye-free and has a low-allergen fragrance.It has been dermatologically tested and is listed in the relevant disinfectant lists such as DGHM-/VAH-, RKI and IHO.

Ingredients

The active ingredients in Softa-Man® are ethanol and 1-propanol.Each 1 ml solution contains 450 mg ethanol and 180 mg propan-1-ol.Other ingredients include purified water, diisopropyl adipate, polyoxyethylene (6) caprylic acid/capric acid glyceride, dexpanthenol, bisabolol, odor corrector, DL-limonene, linalool and allantoin.

Areas of application

Softa-Man® is used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.It is intended for private use.

Notes

Softa-Man® is flammable.The container should always be kept tightly closed and the product should be kept away from sources of ignition.It must not be brought into the eyes, used on broken skin or mucous membranes.Softa-Man® is intended for external use only.The flash point is 21-22°C according to DIN 51 755. Please do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Application

For hygienic hand disinfection, at least 3 ml of Softa-Man® should be applied undiluted to the dry palms of the hands and rubbed until dry.The hands and spaces between the fingers must be completely wetted with the product for at least 30 seconds.In case of massive contamination or contamination with mycobacteria, hand disinfection should be carried out twice.For surgical hand disinfection, Softa-Man® is rubbed undiluted in several portions of 2 - 3 ml into dry hands and forearms, with an exposure time of at least 60 seconds.

Side effects

Possible side effects of Softa-Man® include contact allergies, skin irritations such as redness and burning, especially with frequent use.Alcohol-based disinfectants can dry out the skin and cause skin irritation, especially in low humidity conditions.

Storage

Softa-Man® should be kept out of the reach of children.The product must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label.After opening the container, Softa-Man® can be used for 12 months, but not beyond the expiry date.
