Softa-Man® - hand disinfectant for dry to normal skin

Softa-Man® is a ready-to-use, alcohol-based solution that was specially developed for hand disinfection.This product is suitable for both hygienic and surgical hand disinfection and is particularly gentle on dry to normal skin.

Properties

Softa-Man® is characterized by its caring properties.It is free of additional active ingredients and contains high-quality care substances such as panthenol, bisabolol and allantoin.These ingredients ensure very good skin tolerance and protect the skin from drying out.

The hand disinfectant is effective against bacteria, including MRSA and tuberculosis pathogens (TbB), as well as against fungi.It also has a limited virucidal effect, which also kills enveloped viruses as well as adenoviruses, noroviruses and rotaviruses.Softa-Man® is dye-free and has a low-allergen fragrance, which makes it particularly well tolerated.It has been dermatologically tested and is listed in the official disinfectant lists of the DGHM/VAH, the RKI and the IHO.

Ingredients

The active ingredients of Softa-Man® are ethanol and 1-propanol.Each 1 ml solution contains 450 mg ethanol and 180 mg propan-1-ol.Other ingredients include purified water, diisopropyl adipate, polyoxyethylene (6) caprylic acid/capric acid glyceride, dexpanthenol, bisabolol, odor corrector, DL-limonene, linalool and allantoin.

Application

Softa-Man® is used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.For hygienic hand disinfection, at least 3 ml of the product is placed on the dry palms of the hands and rubbed until dry.The hands and spaces between the fingers must be completely wetted with the product for at least 30 seconds.In case of massive contamination or contamination with mycobacteria, disinfection should be carried out twice.

For surgical hand disinfection, Softa-Man® is rubbed undiluted in several portions of 2 - 3 ml into dry hands and forearms.The exposure time is at least 60 seconds, although care must be taken to ensure that all areas of the skin are kept moist with the preparation throughout the entire exposure time.Then let your hands dry.

Notes

Softa-Man® is flammable and should therefore always be kept tightly closed.Keep the container away from sources of ignition and do not smoke near the product.Avoid contact with eyes and do not use the product on broken skin or mucous membranes.Softa-Man® is intended for external use only.The flash point of the product is 21-22°C according to DIN 51 755.

No prescription is required for this product.Do not use Softa-Man® after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
