Summary: Kephalodoron 5% tablets are an anthroposophic medicinal product for the treatment of vascular headache. It contains the active ingredient ferrum quartz base substance. The medicine can also be used for migraine, complaints following concussion and nervous exhaustion. The tablets are taken unchewed with water. Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1-2 tablets 1-3 times a day. Children from 5 years of age take 1 tablet. During treatment, side effects may occur such as darkening of the stools, feeling of pressure or discolouration of the teeth. The medicine contains lactose and wheat starch, so people with intolerance to certain sugars should be aware of this. No iron supplements, certain antacids and certain liquids should be taken together with Kephalodoron 5% Tablets as this may affect the effectiveness. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. A doctor should always be consulted if there are any questions or further complaints. The leaflet contains further important information. Kephalodoron 5% tablets are sensitive to moisture and should be tightly closed again after use. The expiry date should be observed.
