Centaura® tick and insect repellent spray

Centaura® fly, mosquito and tick spray is a repellent for external use on horses, dogs and people.It has an innovative air spray system without propellants and a 360° spray function.

Areas of application

Centaura® offers reliable protection against insects for people.Applied evenly to the skin, it protects against mosquitoes for up to 8 hours, against biting flies such as horseflies for up to 5 hours and against ticks for up to 4 hours.The product is approved for children aged 24 months and over.

For horses and dogs, Centaura® protects against stinging and non-stinging insects such as horseflies, head flies, eye flies and calf flies for up to 24 hours.It offers up to 4 hours of protection against ticks such as the common wood tick.The protective effect occurs immediately.

The active ingredient in Centaura® is Saltidin® (Icaridin) with a proportion of 20.6% (206 g/kg).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.It must not be used on horses used for food production.

Dosage and application

The spray should only be used in well-ventilated areas.

In humans, the product is applied and distributed evenly over the skin.

For horses and dogs, the spray is applied to the areas to be protected until the fur is slightly damp.The spray can be applied by hand to the animal's head area.

Do not use on damaged skin areas such as sunburn.Avoid direct contact with mouth and eyes.Do not use on children under 2 years of age.Do not use under clothing, saddle or collar.Do not spray directly on the face.Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.Do not inhale spray mist.

No prescription is required for this product.The spray is extremely flammable.The container is under pressure and can burst if heated.Causes serious eye irritation.Keep out of reach of children.Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition.Do not smoke.Do not spray on an open flame or other source of ignition.Do not puncture or burn, even after use.Read all instructions carefully and follow them.
