ALPA Franzbranntwein (rubbing alcohol) is a solution for rubbing into the skin, which is used as a preventive measure in cases of danger of bedsores and insufficient blood circulation in the skin, as well as an aid in the treatment of strains, bruises, sprains, muscle and joint pain. The product contains menthol and ethanol. It is important to read the package leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. ALPA Franzbranntwein should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to menthol and ethanol, in infants and young children under 2 years of age and on open skin wounds. Particular care should be taken during use and ALPA Franzbranntwein should only be used externally and protected from fire. There are no known interactions with other medicines. In case of pregnancy and lactation, medical advice should be sought before use. Side effects may include skin irritation due to drying out after prolonged use and hypersensitivity reactions in appropriately sensitised patients. The product should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
