Description of the drug

This medicine is intended to treat certain skin conditions that are associated with inflammation or itching.It is particularly suitable for eczema and skin diseases in intertriginous areas, i.e. places where parts of the skin rub against each other, such as in the armpits, in the genital-anal area, under the breast or on the thighs.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The medicine contains 4 mg of phenolsulfonic acid, phenol, urea, formaldehyde condensate, sodium salt as the active ingredient.The following excipients are also included: Calcium dilactate 5-water, cetostearyl alcohol, Dimeticon 350, glycerol (mono/di/tri) alkanoate (C12-C18), glycerol (mono/di/tri) alkenoate (Cx-Cy), hexyl laurate, sorbitol 70, Tris [dodecylpoly (oxyethylen)-4] phosphate, water, purified, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl4-hydroxybenzoate and sorbic acid.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive or allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.

Dosage and application

Always use the medicine exactly as directed.If you are unsure, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.The usual dose is a thin layer on the affected skin areas three times a day, which should be massaged in lightly.Be careful not to get the cream in your eyes.If this happens, rinse your eyes under running water for about 10 minutes and then consult an ophthalmologist.

The treatment can be carried out until the inflammatory skin symptoms have subsided.Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you think the effect is too strong or too weak.

In the event of an accidental overdose, you can continue treatment at the specified dosage, as no adverse effects are expected from a short-term overdose.If you forget an application, do not use a double dose.Do not stop using it abruptly as this could jeopardize the success of the treatment.Before having an abortion, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Special Notes

Particular caution is required when using it as the medicine has an eye-irritating effect.There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no experience with the use of the drug during pregnancy.Although it is unlikely that the active ingredient will pass into the bloodstream after application to the skin, you should only use the medicine during pregnancy if your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.

It is not known whether the active ingredient passes into breast milk.Therefore, the medicine should only be used during breastfeeding if absolutely necessary.If your doctor considers application necessary, you should not rub the breast area to avoid unwanted contact with the baby's skin or oral ingestion by the baby.

Additional notes

The medicine is not suitable for use on the eyes.There is no experience with the tolerability of the cream in patients under 18 years of age.The preservatives it contains (methyl and propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate) can trigger allergic reactions.
