Tannolact® cream 1%

Tannolact® Cream is a tannin preparation that is used for inflammatory skin diseases.It has an anti-inflammatory effect and relieves itching.The product is intended for external use and is used for skin conditions that are accompanied by redness, oozing and itching, such as eczema, abrasions and sores.The cream promotes healing and helps the skin restore its natural balance.

The active ingredient in Tannolact® cream is phenolsulfonic acid-phenol-urea-formaldehyde condensate, sodium salt.The other ingredients include sorbic acid, butylated hydroxyanisole, propylene glycol, thin paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, Dimeticon 350 and purified water.

Area of application

Tannolact® Cream is used to support the treatment of skin diseases associated with inflammation, weeping and itching.It is a tannic preparation with anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effects intended for use on the skin.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to synthetic tannins or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It must not be used on the eyes.

Dosage

Always use the medicine exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.The medicine may only be used externally.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Apply Tannolact® Cream thinly to the affected skin areas once or twice a day until it heals.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.If you have any further questions about using the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacy.

Intake

The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin areas.The treatment is carried out until the inflammatory skin symptoms have subsided.The cream should generally be used 3 times daily.There is experience regarding the tolerability of the cream for up to three weeks.The duration of treatment is determined by a doctor.

Driving and using machines: No special precautions are required.

Pregnancy

Before using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacy for advice.There are no concerns about its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it is not absorbed into the body through the skin.

Contains sorbic acid, butylated hydroxyanisole, cetostearyl alcohol and propylene glycol.Not for use on the eyes.Please read the package leaflet.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
