Tannolact® cream 1%

Tannolact® Cream is a tannin preparation that is used for inflammatory skin diseases.These can be accompanied by redness, oozing and itching, such as eczema, abrasions or sores.The product promotes healing and helps the skin regain its natural balance.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Tannolact® Cream is phenolsulfonic acid-phenol-urea-formaldehyde condensate, sodium salt.The other ingredients include sorbic acid, butylated hydroxyanisole, propylene glycol, thin paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, Dimeticon 350 and purified water.

Area of application

Tannolact® Cream is used to support the treatment of skin diseases associated with inflammation, weeping and itching.The medicine is a tannic preparation with anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effects, intended for use on the skin.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to synthetic tannins or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.It must not be used on the eyes.

Dosage and application

Always use the medicine exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.The medicine may only be used externally.Apply the cream thinly to the affected skin areas once or twice a day until it heals.

The cream is generally applied thinly to the affected skin areas 3 times a day.The treatment is carried out until the inflammatory skin symptoms have subsided.There is experience regarding the tolerability of the cream for up to three weeks.The duration of treatment is determined by a doctor.

Patient information

No special precautions are required that affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Before using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacy for advice.There are no concerns about its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it is not absorbed into the body through the skin.

No prescription is required for this product.Contains sorbic acid, butylated hydroxyanisole, cetostearyl alcohol and propylene glycol.Not for use on the eyes.Please read the package leaflet.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
