Instructions for use of the article Cuticerin 20x40cm gauze with ointment coating: - Cuticerin is an ointment dressing with Eucerit used as a primary dressing between the wound and the secondary dressing. - It does not stick to the wound and therefore allows for a painless dressing change. - Cuticerin drains excess exudate into an absorbent secondary dressing. - The smooth acetate fabric with small mesh size reduces the risk of granulation tissue ingrowth. - It is permeable to air and exudate and prevents skin maceration. - The ointment coating protects the wound surface and edges. - Cuticerin requires a secondary dressing, e.g. absorbent dressings or film dressings. - It can be used to treat superficial, exuding wounds such as burns and abrasions.
