Instructions for use of the article Helixor P Series Pack IV Helixor® A/-M/-P Injection Solution is an anthroposophical medicinal product for the extended treatment of tumour diseases. It consists of an extract of fresh mistletoe herb (1:20). Helixor A is made from fir mistletoe, Helixor M from apple tree mistletoe and Helixor P from pine mistletoe. The areas of application include malignant tumour diseases with accompanying disorders of the blood-forming organs, benign tumour diseases, prevention of relapses after tumour operations and defined precancerous conditions. It is recommended to read the package leaflet and consult the doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. It is used by subcutaneous injection (injection under the skin) near the tumour or metastases. It is recommended not to inject into inflamed skin areas or radiation fields. The dosage is determined individually and can be adjusted as needed. Possible side effects are a slight increase in body temperature, localised inflammatory reactions around the injection site and temporary slight swelling of regional lymph nodes. In case of fever above 38 °C or major local reactions, the next injection should only be given after the symptoms have subsided. Special caution is advised in cases of hypersensitivity to mistletoe preparations, acute inflammatory or high febrile diseases, chronic granulomatous diseases, autoimmune diseases with severe signs of illness and hyperthyroidism with palpitations. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding requires caution. The duration of use is determined by the doctor and may be several years, with breaks. In case of overdose, moist cool compresses or anti-inflammatory ointment dressings should be used. In case of severe symptoms, immediate medical treatment is required.
