Areas of application

The Ringer's lactate solution is used for fluid and electrolyte replacement in a balanced acid-base balance and in mild acidosis.It also serves as a short-term intravascular volume replacement in isotonic and hypotonic dehydration.The solution can also be used as a carrier solution for compatible electrolyte concentrates and medications.

Active ingredients

The solution contains several active ingredients: sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate and sodium (S)-lactate as sodium (S)-lactate solution (50%).
