Instructions for use for ARNIKA TINKTUR, 50 ml

Information for use with the article Arnica tincture: Arnica tincture is used for external application for injuries and the consequences of accidents. It is used for bruises, sprains, contusions, bruises, oedema as a result of a broken bone, rheumatic muscle and joint complaints, furunculosis and inflammation as a result of insect bites as well as superficial phlebitis. The tincture consists of 100 g tincture of arnica flowers (1:10 [Verhältnis Droge zu Auszugsmittel]); extraction agent: ethanol 70% (V/V). It is recommended not to use the medicinal product for longer than 1-2 weeks and to consult a doctor if the symptoms persist or recur regularly. Tincture of arnica should not be ingested and must not get into the eyes, on mucous membranes or in open wounds. There are no known interactions with other remedies. There are some contraindications to the use of tincture of arnica, including hypersensitivity to arnica and other composite plants, open wounds and children under 12 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also not use the medicine unless prescribed by a doctor. Possible side effects include hypersensitivity reactions of the skin, such as rash. If side effects occur, the treatment should be stopped immediately and a doctor should be consulted. The medicine should be kept tightly closed and protected from light.
