This medicine supports the healing of skin and mucous membrane injuries.The active ingredient dexpanthenol is converted in the body to pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B5.Pantothenic acid is essential for skin metabolism.Dexpanthenol increases skin moisture, improves its elasticity, promotes wound healing and relieves itching and inflammation.

The medicine contains dexpanthenol, an active ingredient from the group of water-soluble vitamins.It is used to support healing of superficial, minor skin and mucous membrane injuries.No prescription is required for this product.

Mode of action

Panthenol wound and healing cream JENAPHARM® contains dexpanthenol, which promotes wound healing.It nourishes the skin, increases its moisture content and improves elasticity.Dexpanthenol stimulates the formation of new cells, relieves itching and inhibits inflammation, which means that the skin heals and is cared for more quickly.

1 Gram of the cream contains 50 milligrams of dexpanthenol.Other ingredients include bronopol, wool wax, white petroleum jelly, thick paraffin and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive or allergic to dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients.

Contains bronopol and wool wax, which may contain traces of butylated hydroxytoluene.Contact with eyes should be avoided.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
