Umckaloabo juice for children is a herbal medicinal product that can be used for the symptomatic treatment of acute bronchitis in children aged 1 to 12 years. The juice contains the active ingredient Pelargonium sidoides root dry extract, which is obtained from the Capeland geranium. This active ingredient works against viruses that get stuck in the bronchial tubes, helping to loosen stuck mucus and shorten the overall duration of the illness. The juice is free from alcohol, colourings, gluten and lactose. The dosage varies according to the age of the child and is 2.5 ml three times a day for children from 1 to 6 years and 5 ml three times a day for children from 7 to 12 years, regardless of the meal. The duration of treatment should not exceed three weeks. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult a doctor.
