Zinkbrause Verla 25 mg is a mineral preparation used for the treatment of clinically confirmed zinc deficiencies, provided these cannot be corrected nutritionally. It contains the active ingredient zinc sulphate. The dosage for adults is 1/2 to 1 effervescent tablet (12.5 to 25 mg zinc) per day, about 1 hour before meals. The effervescent tablet should be dissolved in half a glass of water and drunk completely. There are no known side effects if the medicine is used as prescribed. However, in the event of an overdose, nausea, vomiting and a metallic taste may occur. In this case, contact a doctor immediately. The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to zinc sulphate monohydrate or any of the other ingredients.
