Directions for use of the article Zink Verla 10 mg Film-Coated Tablets Zinc Verla 10 mg is a mineral preparation used in cases of proven zinc deficiency and treatment with penicillamine and other complexing agents. The usual dose is 1-2 film-coated tablets daily before a meal with sufficient liquid. The duration of use depends on the need and the success of the treatment. In case of overdose, side effects such as metallic taste, headache, diarrhoea and vomiting may occur. The medicinal product must not be taken if you are allergic to zinc D-gluconate or other components of the medicinal product. There are no restrictions on use during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Interactions with other medicines are possible, so you should discuss this with your doctor or pharmacist. Side effects are rare and occur only in exceptional cases.
