Bifonazole is an effective active ingredient for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin. It is effective against various fungi such as dermatophytes, yeasts, moulds and other fungi. It can be used for various fungal infections, such as athlete's foot, skin fungus, fungal infections in the folds of the body, fungal infections between the toes or fingers, skin lichen caused by pityriasis versicolor and dwarf lichen (erythrasma). Bifonazole can be used as a solution or pump spray. The recommended dose is 1-2 sprays once a day before bedtime. The duration of treatment varies depending on the type of infection and is usually 2-3 weeks. Possible side effects include mild skin irritation such as redness, burning or scaling of the skin. Bifonazole should not be used if you are allergic to bifonazole or other ingredients of the medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use.
