The instructions for use of the article "Movicol Junior Schoko Pulver" contain important information on the use of the product. The powder is used to treat constipation in children aged 2 to 11 years. It contains the active ingredients macrogol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate and potassium chloride. The dosage depends on the age of the child and can be adjusted on the advice of the doctor. It is recommended to give sufficient fluids daily. Treatment of chronic constipation should be given over a longer period of time. Side effects may include abdominal pain, diarrhoea, vomiting and nausea. The medicinal product must not be used in the presence of intestinal constriction or obstruction, intestinal perforation, severe intestinal disease or hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
