Product characteristics: HYA-Ject Tendon is a viscoelastic solution for injection into the tendon or tendon sheath. It contains 2.0% sodium hyaluronate obtained from fermentation. The solution is sterile by moist heat. Composition: One ml of isotonic solution contains 20.0 mg of sodium hyaluronate as well as sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, mannitol and water for injection. Indications: HYA-Ject Tendon is used for the treatment of pain and restricted mobility associated with tendon disorders. Contraindications: The product must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Interactions: So far, no incompatibilities with other tendon-applicable products are known. Side effects: After application, local accompanying symptoms such as pain, feeling of heat, bruising, redness and swelling may occur. Dosage instructions and method of use: HYA-Ject Tendon should be injected a total of twice a week around the diseased tendon or into the diseased tendon sheath. Several tendons can be treated at the same time. Before injection, remove any air bubble from the syringe. Precautions: Special care should be taken in patients with known hypersensitivity to drugs. Application should be done correctly to avoid injury to nerves or blood vessels. Use in children, pregnant or lactating women is not recommended.
