Hepar SL 320 mg is a herbal medicinal product for the treatment of digestive disorders, especially functional disorders of the biliary system. The hard capsules contain artichoke leaf dry extract, which supports fat digestion and promotes bile flow. It relieves discomfort such as gastric distress, nausea and bloating. The product is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. It is recommended to take 2 capsules 2 times a day unchewed with sufficient liquid with the main meals. The medicinal product should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to artichokes or other compositae and in cases of obstruction of the bile ducts. Pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 12 years of age should not take the product. Side effects such as mild diarrhoea, upper abdominal discomfort and skin rashes are very rare. Patients should contact their doctor or pharmacist if they have any questions about its use. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used before the expiry date.
