The Hepar Sl 320 mg hard capsules are a herbal medicinal product used for digestive disorders and functional disorders of the biliary system. They contain artichoke leaf dry extract, which improves fat digestion and increases bile flow. This relieves symptoms such as flatulence, stomach distention, nausea and bloating. The product can be taken by adolescents from 12 years and adults. The recommended dosage is 2 capsules twice a day with the main meals. Children under 12 years of age, pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding should not take the product. Persons with known hypersensitivity to artichokes or other components of the medicinal product should also refrain from taking the product. In case of gallstone disease, a doctor should be consulted before use. Side effects such as diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, upper abdominal discomfort, nausea and skin rashes may occur. In case of prolonged or regularly recurring complaints, a doctor should be consulted. The product should be stored below 25 °C.
