Sterillium Tissue is a disinfectant suitable for various applications.The active ingredients are propan-2-ol, propan-1-ol and mecetronium etil sulfate.This product is available without a prescription.

Area of application

Sterillium Tissue is used for hygienic hand disinfection as well as for skin disinfection before injections and punctures on skin with poor sebaceous glands.It offers protection in various situations, be it at work, on the move or in other hygiene-related environments.

A nonwoven wet wipe contains the following active ingredients: propan-2-ol (1,341 mg), propan-1-ol (894 mg) and mecetronium etil sulfate (5.96 mg).Additionally it contains tetradecan-1-ol, glycerol 85%, fragrances and purified water.

Contraindications

Sterillium Tissue must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or other ingredients.It should not be used near the eyes or open wounds, on premature and newborn babies, or to disinfect mucous membranes.

Dosage

For hygienic hand disinfection, dry hands should be rubbed with at least a wet wipe for at least 30 seconds without rinsing.To disinfect the skin before injections and punctures, the affected area of skin should be rubbed with at least a wet wipe for at least 15 seconds.If the solution comes into contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes with running water for several minutes with the eyelids open.

Patient information

The product should only be used in infants and small children after consulting a doctor.Contact with the eyes should be avoided, and in the event of contact, immediately rinse the eyes with running water for several minutes with the eyelids open.Electrical devices should only be used once the product has dried.The product should be kept away from open flames and not used near sources of ignition as it is flammable and has a flash point of 23.5°C.In case of fire, it can be extinguished with water, fire extinguisher, foam or CO2.

When used correctly, the preparation has no effect on the ability to drive or use machines.
