Instructions for use of the article Chlorhexamed FORTE alcohol-free 0.2% solution: - Active ingredient: chlorhexidine bis(D-gluconate). - Indications: Temporary reduction in the number of germs in the oral cavity, support of the healing phase after periodontal surgery, supportive treatment of gum inflammation caused by bacteria, impaired oral hygiene. - Warning: Contains peppermint flavouring and macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate. - Other ingredients: Peppermint flavouring, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, glycerol, sorbitol solution 70%, purified water. - Chlorhexamed FORTE alcohol-free 0.2% is an antiseptic mouthwash for the supportive treatment of gingivitis. - The mouthwash contains 0.2% chlorhexidine and forms a protective film that kills bacteria and prevents them from adhering to the oral cavity. - The mouthwash reduces germ formation and has a depot effect of up to 12 hours. - Application: Twice a day, in the morning and in the evening after brushing your teeth, put about 10 ml in your mouth and swish the solution back and forth for one minute. Then spit out, do not swallow. - Duration of use: Maximum 10 weeks without medical advice. - Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the ingredients, deep or scaly sores in the oral mucosa, ulcers of the oral mucosa. Not suitable for children under 6 years of age. - Side effects: Taste disturbances, numbness of the tongue, temporary discolouration of the tongue and tooth surface. - Do not use for longer than 6 months after opening. - Storage: Protect from heat and light, store in the dark after opening. Important information: Use with caution if hypersensitive to chlorhexidine. Solubilisers may cause stomach upset and diarrhoea. Advice from our pharmacists: Do not offer more than 15 packs per quarter. Separate maximum quantities may be set for certain medicines.
