Ibutop pain cream is a medicinal product for external use for pain and inflammation. It contains the active ingredient ibuprofen and is used for the treatment of muscular rheumatism, arthrosis, inflammatory rheumatic diseases, swelling and inflammation of the soft tissues near the joints, frozen shoulder, low back pain and sports and accident injuries. The cream is applied to the affected skin area 3 to 4 times a day and rubbed in. The maximum daily dosage is 20g of cream. The duration of application is usually 2-3 weeks. Side effects such as skin rash or itching may occur. The medicine must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other painkillers and rheumatism medicines, open injuries, inflammations or infections of the skin and in the last trimester of pregnancy. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before use to ensure that the medicine is used appropriately.
