Information for use with the article Macrogol TAD: Citrus-flavoured macrogol TAD is used for the treatment of chronic constipation (constipation). The dosage recommendations are as follows: For adults, adolescents and elderly patients, it is recommended to dissolve and drink the contents of one sachet once daily. If necessary, the dose can be reduced to 1-2 sachets per day. No dose adjustment is required in patients with impaired renal function. Treatment with macrogol TAD should normally not last longer than 2 weeks. However, in some cases, repeated use may be necessary for severe chronic constipation. Macrogol TAD should not be used for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice. The solution should be prepared fresh and not mixed with other liquids. Storage should be at temperatures below 25°C and the product should not be used after the printed expiry date.
