Application

Type and duration of application

The contents of one sachet are dissolved in 125 ml of water and drunk.The drinking solution should be freshly prepared before consumption and should not be mixed with other solutions, drinks or additives in order not to change the electrolyte concentration.

Ingredients

The product contains 13.125 g of Macrogol 3350, 0.351 g of sodium chloride, 0.179 g of sodium bicarbonate and 0.046 g of potassium chloride per bag.The other ingredients include sorbitol, acesulfame potassium, lemon flavor and colors.

Mode of action

Macrogol TAD contains macrogol 3350 and electrolytes as active ingredients.Due to the high water-binding capacity of Macrogol 3350, a lot of fluid can be transported into the intestines without being absorbed by the body.This softens solid stool and increases stool volume, triggering natural bowel movement and ultimately stool excretion.Macrogol 3350 is also excreted.

The addition of electrolytes creates a drinking solution that compensates for a possible loss of the body's own electrolytes or water or avoids fluid stress on the body.

There is no sufficient experience with the use of macrogol TAD in children.Therefore, use in children under 12 years is not recommended.
