Indications: Improves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. For improving the symptoms of urticaria (a skin condition caused by allergy). Desloratadine Glenmark contains desloratadine, which belongs to the group of antihistamines. It is an anti-allergic medicine that does not make you sleepy. It helps to control your allergic reaction and its symptoms. When should Desloratadine Glenmark be used? - Desloratadine Glenmark improves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by an allergy, for example hay fever or dust mite allergy) in adults and young people aged 12 and over. These symptoms include sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate and itchy, red or watery eyes. - Desloratadine Glenmark is also used to improve the symptoms of urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy). These symptoms include itching and wheals. The improvement in these symptoms lasts for a whole day and helps you to resume your normal daily activities and regain your sleep. How should Desloratadine Glenmark be taken? Always take this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Adults and young people aged 12 and over take one tablet once a day with water, with or without food. The tablet should be swallowed whole (unchewed). The duration of treatment depends on the type of allergic rhinitis and can be determined individually by the doctor. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to the ingredients - Impaired kidney function - Children under 12 years of age - Pregnancy and breastfeeding (according to current knowledge) Side effects: Possible side effects may include dry mouth, headache and tiredness.
