Directions for use: Desloratadine Glenmark 5 mg Tablets. Desloratadine Glenmark contains the active substance desloratadine, an antihistamine used to treat allergic rhinitis and hives. It relieves symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate, itchy, red or watery eyes and itching and wheals caused by urticaria. Desloratadine Glenmark has an anti-allergic effect, does not make you tired and helps to control allergic reactions and their symptoms. In adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over, it is recommended to take one tablet once a day, regardless of the meal. The duration of use and dosage should be done in consultation with a doctor or pharmacist to ensure the best treatment. Patients with certain renal function limitations should consult their doctor before use. Desloratadine Glenmark should not be taken if there is an allergy to desloratadine, loratadine or other ingredients of the medicine. Side effects may include dry mouth, headache and tiredness. In case of overdose, headache and fatigue may occur. If an overdose is suspected, medical advice should be sought immediately. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before using Desloratadine Glenmark. Care should be taken to ensure that there is no lactose intolerance. The medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. No special storage conditions should be observed.
