The effectiveness of thyme has long been known and appreciated, especially because of its expectorant, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties.Aspecton cough drops use a special manufacturing process that achieves a thymol concentration that is three times higher than in comparable preparations.This special formulation enables a 5-fold effect: effectively loosen mucus in the bronchi, relieve coughing, relax the bronchi, facilitate the removal of mucus and specifically inhibit inflammation.

With their composition without added sugar, alcohol, preservatives, gluten, lactose and colorings, Aspecton cough drops offer a natural choice for young and old. They are suitable for children from 2 years of age and impress with their good tolerability.

Ingredients of Aspecton cough drops: 10 ml of liquid (1 ml corresponds to 27 drops) contains 4.23 g thick extract of thyme herb (1.7-2.5:1).Extractants are ammonia solution 10% (m/m), glycerol 85% (m/m), ethanol 90% (v/v) and water (1:20:70:109).The other ingredients are glycerol 85%, propylene glycol, eucalyptus oil and levomenthol.Note: Does not contain alcohol (ethanol).

Area of application

Aspecton cough drops are used to improve the symptoms of colds in the respiratory tract with viscous mucus and to improve the symptoms of acute bronchitis.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Aspecton cough drops: Aspecton cough drops can be taken undiluted or in water.It is taken with or without meals.Adults and teenagers aged 12 and over can take 31 to a maximum of 61 drops 3-4 times a day.Children aged 11 to 12 should take 15 drops 3 times a day.Children 5 to 10 years old can take 10 drops 3-4 times a day.Children 2 to 4 years old should take 10 drops twice a day.

Do not take this medicine if you have liver or kidney disease unless your doctor tells you to.Your doctor may conduct additional tests while you are taking this medicine.Aspecton cough drops have no added sugar and contain less than 0.01 BE per 10 ml. They are alcohol-free (ethanol) and therefore also suitable for patients who need to avoid alcohol (ethanol).Shelf life is 6 months after opening.
