DracoFoam haft is a foam wound dressing with an all-round adhesive edge.This wound dressing is particularly suitable for medium to heavily exuding, chronic and acute problem wounds where the skin around the wound is intact.It is characterized by a high exudate absorption and evaporation rate.Changing the dressing is atraumatic and prevents the tissue from growing into the wound dressing.Patient compatibility is guaranteed by the minimized allergy potential of the adhesive-free wound pad made of fine-pored polyurethane foam as well as the skin-friendly acrylate adhesive on the adhesive edge.The wound dressing is permeable to gases, shower-proof and offers secure protection for linen.

DracoFoam adhesive can be used on various types of wounds, including acute and chronic, moderate to heavily exuding wounds in the exudation and granulation phase, superficial wounds, venous and arterial leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot, second degree burns and split-thickness skin harvests.The wound dressing can also be used under compression therapy.
