Information for use with the article Kneipp Schlaf gut Baldrian forte: Kneipp Schlaf gut Baldrian forte is a herbal medicinal product used to calm and treat sleep disorders. It contains the active substance valerian root dry extract in a dosage of 450 mg per coated tablet. It is used for mild nervous tension and sleep disorders in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. The recommended dosage is 1 coated tablet for mild nervous tension and 1/2 to 1 hour before bedtime for sleep disorders. Up to 3 coated tablets can be taken daily. The individual effect can last up to two weeks, so continuous use for 2-4 weeks is recommended. In case of overdose, fatigue, abdominal cramps, tightness in the chest, feeling of emptiness in the head, trembling of the hands and dilatation of the pupils may occur. The medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be stored above 30°C. For further information, please refer to the package leaflet.
