Instructions for use for IBUPROFEN proff 5% gel, 50 g

Ibuprofen proff 5% gel is used for the external treatment of swellings and inflammations of the soft tissues near the joints as well as sports and accident injuries such as bruises, sprains and strains. The gel should be applied to the affected skin area 3 times a day and massaged in gently. The maximum daily dose is 15 g of gel. The medicinal product must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or if there are open injuries, inflammation of the skin or eczema. In case of pregnancy and lactation, a doctor should be consulted before use. Possible side effects may include skin reactions such as redness, itching, burning, rash and dehydration. The gel contains 50 mg ibuprofen per 1 g gel and other excipients such as dimethylisoborbide, isopropanol, poloxamer 407, medium chain triglycerides, lavender oil, bitter orange flower oil and purified water. The pack contains either 50 g or 100 g of gel.
