Mykofungin 3, 200 mg vaginal tablets are a medicine used to treat fungal infections of the vagina. The active substance clotrimazole inhibits the growth and multiplication of fungal cells, such as yeasts and some bacteria. The vaginal tablets are used for infectious discharge caused by yeast fungi, inflammation of the vagina caused by yeast fungi and superimposed infections with clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria. The application period is usually 3 days, but can be repeated if necessary. If the symptoms do not improve after 4 days, a doctor should be consulted. During treatment, unprotected sexual intercourse should not take place and hands should be washed thoroughly before use. Further information on use and storage can be found in the package leaflet.
