Description

ThermaCare pain gel is a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medicine for external use.It is used in adults and adolescents aged 14 and over to treat pain from acute strains, sprains or bruises in the limb area as a result of sports and accident injuries.It can also be used for inflammatory soft tissue rheumatic diseases such as tendonitis, tendonitis and bursitis.

The pain gel has a triple effect: it cools, relieves pain and inhibits inflammation.The active ingredient Felbinac not only relieves pain locally, but also fights the cause of the inflammation from within.ThermaCare pain gel is odorless, leaves no residue and is well tolerated.It does not contain any controversial excipients such as paraffins/silicones, parabens or PEG-derivatives.

Active ingredients and ingredients

ThermaCare pain gel contains 48.8 mg Felbinac-1,1'-Iminobis (propan-2-ol) per gram of gel, which corresponds to 30 mg Felbinac.The excipients are 1,1'-iminodipropan-2-ol, carbomer, ethanol and purified water.

Application

The gel is applied to the painful areas 2 to 4 times a day and massaged in gently.The recommended amount is 1 to 2 grams of gel, which is about 3 to 6 centimeters of a gel strand.If there is significant improvement, treatment can be continued with lower daily doses.A daily dose of 20 grams of gel should not be exceeded.

The pain gel may only be used on uninjured skin.Contact with mucous membranes or eyes should be avoided and it should not be used under tight-fitting dressings.The application should be continued until the symptoms subside.If there is no improvement, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

The pain gel must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to Felbinac, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including acetylsalicylic acid) or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.

Special Notes

Particular caution is required in patients with previously damaged kidneys or in those who have reacted hypersensitively to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or painkillers with asthma attacks, skin reactions, acute rhinitis or certain kidney diseases.In these cases, a doctor should be consulted before use.The gel should not be used in children and adolescents under 14 years of age as there are no sufficient studies for this age group.

There is no sufficient experience with the use of Felbinac during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Therefore, the gel should not be used in these cases.

Storage instructions

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
