Azela-Vision MD sine is a medicine containing the active substance azelastine hydrochloride. It belongs to the group of antihistamines and protects against the effects of substances such as histamine, which the body produces during an allergic reaction. The medicine is used to treat and prevent eye symptoms due to hay fever (seasonal allergic conjunctivitis) in adults and children aged 4 years and older. It is also used to treat and prevent eye complaints due to allergies to e.g. house dust mites or dog and cat dander (seasonal allergic conjunctivitis) in adults and children aged 12 years and over. If symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor. Azela-Vision MD sine may only be used on the eye. The recommended dosage is one drop in each eye in the morning and evening. The duration of use should not exceed 6 weeks without medical advice. Side effects may occur, such as irritation of the eye and taste disorders.
