Ibuprofen Heumann Schmerztabletten 400 mg is an anti-inflammatory and painkilling medicine. It is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and fever. The tablets can be used by adults and children from 6 years of age. The recommended dosage varies according to age and body weight. It is recommended to take the medicine during or after a meal with plenty of liquid. It should not be taken for more than 3 days for fever or more than 4 days for pain without medical advice. In children and adolescents, medical advice should be sought if it is necessary to take the medicine for more than 3 days or if the symptoms worsen. Possible side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin. The package leaflet should be read or a doctor or pharmacist consulted before use.
