Cutimed Siltec Plus is a highly absorbent silicone foam dressing for the treatment of chronic wounds with weak to moderately heavy exudate. The dressing consists of a 5 mm thick polyurethane foam with a highly adhesive silicone film on the wound contact side. The silicone film allows easy and reliable application of the dressing and prevents adhesion to the exuding wound. In addition, the dressing provides effective vertical exudate absorption thanks to an open-cell polyurethane foam and a superabsorbent that can absorb several times its own weight. Cutimed Siltec Plus is recommended for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers and pressure ulcers, as well as for secondary healing wounds such as post-operative wounds and skin grafts.
