Olynth® Ectomed - nasal spray without habituation effect

Olynth® Ectomed clears the nose in a naturally gentle way.The nasal spray is ideal for treating a stuffy nose as well as dry and irritated nasal mucous membranes.It moisturizes and soothes the irritated nasal mucous membranes and helps to gently decongest the nose.The hypertonic solution uses its osmotic effect to balance the excess fluid in the nasal mucosa.The natural substance Ectoin® forms an air-permeable hydrofilm on the nasal mucosa, which soothes and moisturizes it and supports the body's own protective barrier.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

10 ml of Olynth Ectomed nasal spray contains 2.0% Ectoin®, 2.1% sea salt, water and phosphate buffer.Each 1 g spray contains 21 mg hypertonic sea water and 20 mg ectoine.Other ingredients are purified water and phosphate buffer.

Area of application

Olynth Ectomed nasal spray gently clears the nose.It is suitable for children aged 6 and over and adults.

Mode of action

A stuffy nose can cause discomfort and headaches.Olynth Ectomed nasal spray gently clears the nose with sea salt and helps decongest the mucous membrane.The active ingredient ectoine binds water and thus moistens the mucous membrane, preventing it from drying out.The nasal spray does not cause any habituation effect and can therefore be used for up to 30 days.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.It is not suitable for children under six years of age.

Dosage

The recommended dose is 1 to 2 sprays into each nostril several times daily as needed.To avoid an overdose, this dose should not be exceeded.Children between 6 and 10 years of age should be assisted by an adult when using it.
