Information for use of the article Omeprazol Zentiva 20 mg for heartburn: - Omeprazole Zentiva 20 mg is a medicine for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux. - It contains the active ingredient omeprazole, which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach. - The enteric-coated hard capsules should be taken for 2-3 consecutive days to achieve an improvement in symptoms. - The usual dosage is one capsule per day for a period of 14 days. - The capsules should be swallowed whole with half a glass of water and not chewed or crushed. - If swallowing is difficult, the capsule contents may be taken with water or acidic fruit juice. - Store at room temperature below 25 °C in the original packaging. - The package leaflet contains further important information on risks, side effects and contraindications. - If you have any questions or uncertainties, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist.
