Sage leaves, medicinal tea is a herbal gastrointestinal remedy as well as a remedy for the mouth and throat area.The active ingredient in this product is sage leaves.

Areas of application

This product is used internally for digestive problems with mild cramps in the gastrointestinal area, feeling of fullness, flatulence and increased sweat secretion.It can be used externally for inflammation of the mouth and throat mucosa.

Type of application

Sage leaves, medicinal tea can be used for drinking as well as for rinsing or gargling after making a tea infusion.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage instructions

Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 3 to 4 times a day: 1 teaspoon full (approx. 1.5 g) of sage leaves is poured with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes, if necessary, passed through a tea strainer.

For use in the mouth and throat area, rinse or gargle with a tea infusion prepared as follows: A generous 1.5 teaspoonfuls (approx. 2.5 g) of sage leaves are poured over with boiling water (approx. 100 ml) and after about 10 to 15 minutes passed through a tea strainer.
